1. Information we collect
a) Tracking IDs you enter
When you use our tracker, the tracking ID you type is sent from your browser to our server. Our server requests the matching tracking information from TCS and shows it to you. To make repeat searches faster, the result is stored temporarily on our server for up to 10 minutes and then deleted automatically. Results that are “not found” are stored for up to 2 minutes. We do not link tracking IDs to your name, and we do not build a history of your searches.
b) Basic technical information
To protect the tracker from abuse, we keep a count of searches from each IP address for 5 minutes. The IP address is stored only in a coded (hashed) form and is deleted automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, date and time) for security and to keep the site running.
c) Information you send us
If you contact us or leave a comment, we receive the details you provide, such as your name, email address and message. WordPress also stores the IP address and browser details of comment authors to help detect spam.
d) Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies as explained in section 4.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- Show tracking results you ask for
- Keep the Website secure and prevent misuse of the tracker
- Reply to your messages
- Understand how the Website is used so we can improve our guides
- Show advertising that keeps the Website free (if ads are enabled)

3. Tracking results and third parties
Tracking information comes from TCS. When our server requests tracking data, TCS receives the tracking ID but not your personal details. TCS handles that data under its own privacy policy. Tracking results may include delivery details such as city names and the name of the person who received a parcel; we show these only to the person who searched and we do not store them beyond the short cache period described above.

- Tracking results: up to 10 minutes (2 minutes for “not found”)
- Search counts for abuse protection: 5 minutes
- Messages you send us: as long as needed to reply and keep a record, usually no more than 2 years
- Comments: as long as the comment is published
- Server logs: as set by our hosting provider, usually a few weeks
7. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, such as your messages or comments, by emailing [your email]. We will reply within 30 days.
8. Children’s privacy
The Website is meant for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
